Covid-19 Updates

The latest from UNC Greensboro

This is an important update for all UNCG students, faculty, and staff regarding University-affiliated international travel.

Over the last 18 months, UNC Greensboro has followed developments of the COVID-19 pandemic closely.  Data continually shows that the single, most effective thing you can do to protect yourself and others is to get vaccinated. Additionally, the risks and complications increase significantly when traveling unvaccinated. For this reason, UNC Greensboro will require all students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate in UNCG-affiliated international travel beginning September 15, 2021.

Students should upload their proof of vaccination into the Student Health Services’ (SHS) patient portal. Faculty and staff should upload their proof of vaccination into the UNCG Vaccine Portal.  These are secure, encrypted portals that require authentication (UNCG username and password) in order to upload a vaccine record.

If you are not yet fully vaccinated and intend to go abroad, please begin making plans now to get vaccinated. Remember: the COVID-19 vaccination is free for everyone! You can get your COVID-19 vaccine at Student Health Services. Call them at 336.334.5340 to set up your appointment.
